Guessing Results and Statistics

Everyone who guessed got at least three right. Great job.

Every story got at least one guess, and the only story that nobody guessed right was "Forging," by argentum_ls. Lady Silver in stealth mode!

Coralysendria, Sharpest Asp, Teratornis, and pennywashburne were also tricksy, with only one person correctly guessing them.

A few of us who've been around here a while were pretty obvious. There were three stories that every single one of our guessers got right:

- Moondance or A Series of Extraordinary Events (hafital)
- Old Fashioned Number Nine (killabeez)
- Stolen Time (Mackiedockie)

Two other stories also had 6 correct guesses:

- Cousin's Retreat by Sharpest Asp
- Ancient Chronicles by Morgyn Leri

Teratornis - 8
Lady Silver - 8

Tied for 3rd place with 10 correct guesses: Annavere and dkwilliams

2nd place: jasmasson with an impressive 11 correct

...and in first place, Black Dwarf, with a sweeping 12 correct guesses!

Such fun! I love how the writers keep us guessing - it's fun when we get it right, recognizing old favorites! And it's such a hoot to see how wrong we are. Should have gone with my instincts on 2 of them! Congrats to Black Dwarf and Jasmasson!

I confess I honestly get too involved with the stories themselves, revelling in hearing the voices of my favorite characters again. This makes me a total failure at deconstructing authorship on a macro level--I'm enjoying myself too much just reading (and re-reading) all the sparkling gems. Thank you everybody for all your hard work!

Wow, I did much better at the guessing than I had anticipated! I should have guessed Havoc for all three of her stories, but I rationalized myself out of it because who would write an assignment and two extra stories while co-modding? :D

This was an absolute feast of wonderful stories. Thank you to the mods and everyone involved!

I know! I kept saying "nah, can't be the same author" on those. I managed to convince myself that Asp wrote two but Havoc writing 3? Impossible! (Next year I will guess that Havoc wrote all of them just from the start.) Also I was trying to figure in our new writer, who I guess ended up pulling out?
