I know what you're all asking: who won the guessing stats this year?
Firstly, thanks to Merriman (2), Brightknightie (3), and Black Dwarf (7!) for their attempts to unseat Diana on her guessing throne this year. It was a really good effort. Despite that...
IT. WAS. A. TIE.

That’s right, Diana. Lady Silver came for the king and she best...not... missed or something Omar Little said on The Wire. Both Diana and Lady Silver had 9 correct guesses, which means that they knew over 50% of the stories on sight. ALLOW THAT TO TERRIFY YOU.

Also, Mackiedockie and pennywashburne were the most frequently identified, which for Mackiedockie isn't a surprise (because Joe), but penny? Where did you come from, comrade? How did everyone find you. Was there a hidden anagram? LOL.

Thanks so much for the newbies coming out to do the fest, and to all the old timers here in the salt mines. I watched some HL on DVD this holiday break, and Duncan's hair notwithstanding, that show still rocks.

I'll be back when the year is through,

Yay, thank you! Next year I'm going to use a dart/board method to guessing. That will probably make my guesses more accurate.
