2. PREFERENCES: Happy, fun, can be angsty as long as there's a happy ending, can be sexy and plotless. I want the characters to have an adventure even if it's just between the front door and the nearest horizontal surface. They can be kinky as long as consent is clear. Polyamory is ok. The story should be a standalone, not connected to anything you've written before.
3. DISLIKES: Torture for torture's sake, lack of consent in a sex scene, golden showers, humiliation of the characters just to make fun of them. Also dislike having my gift be part of an existing series you're writing.

I'd like to receive:
1. PREFERRED TYPE/PEOPLE: Gen and canon relationships are my favorites. I most enjoy Duncan, Tessa, Randi, Darius, Charlie, Angie, earnest Richie (not as much comedy Richie), Anne, Michelle, Cierdwyn, Rachel, Grace, and obscure canonical mortal characters. Duncan/Tessa is my OTP. Monogamy preferred (till death). No objections to Joe, Connor, or Methos! Just not specifically requesting (they usually get lots of representation).
2. PREFERENCES: The first 2 seasons of HL are my favorites. Stories with that tone are especially lovely, no matter when or where set. I enjoy history, social justice, what-if with a canon base, second chances, mutuality, respect for mortality, faith appropriate to the character, holidays of all kinds all year round, longing... my usual. In this year of years, I'd like to note that while I'm always in for a tragedy including character death, what I really look for in those is what comes next, how the survivors will carry on with memory, not for the curtain to come down at the bleakest depth. And if you'd like to set something in 2020, I'm up for that, as long as Duncan, on or off screen, is on the side of angels: compassion, science, justice, and democracy. Or tell me what happened with Greta around "The Darkness" or some other loose canon thread.
3. DISLIKES: I don't enjoy the Horsemen, Ahriman, Cassandra, or Kenny. I despair of portrayals of Duncan as childish. I'd rather not read kinks, non-con, pro-evil (including bigotry), mentor/student, flat absurdities (like mpreg), or hostility to faith. I'm afraid that I've still watched only a few episodes of The Raven, and none of the most recent productions.
For the gift I am giving:

I love Duncan/Methos, but open to other pairings too. Feel free to put any of these characters listed together in a pairing or threesome (except Duncan/Richie, which I'm not into). I do also like Joe, just not as much in a romantic relationship but friendship with any of the above is good.

PREFERENCES: Fun and adventure, hurt/comfort, first time stories, laughter, character development, angst with happy ending, wacky hijinks, time travel, superheroes, can also be serious i like drama too, sexy times, but can also be gen, relationships romantic or platonic, threesomes or moresomes. 2. PREFERENCES: Genres: Hurt/comfort (emphasis on hurt), drama, action/adventure, heists/cons/capers. Tropes/themes: secret identity revealed/discovered, clever or unusual uses of the character's Immortality, time travel gone wrong (including becoming unmoored in time, loops, or Quantum Leap style), stories that focus on the mundane issues of being Immortal, unusual combinations of canon characters (gen or ship), characters needing to earn each others' trust.
3. DISLIKES: Duncan/Methos, sexual content over what we saw on the show, the Ahriman arc, movies 2-5, stories that are all or mostly introspection, requested character death, character humiliation, crossover characters who are HL Immortals/Watchers/pre-Immortals when the story starts, non-canon AUs (e.g. mpreg, A/B/O, coffee shop, etc.), zombies.
All canon characters and OCs (mortal or Immortal) who fit the world are welcome in the story.
For the gift I am giving:
1. CHARACTERS I WILL NOT WRITE: Duncan/Methos (I'll write either character, just not as a pairing), movie characters only, Maurice
2. THINGS I WILL NOT WRITE: historical characters/settings, porn, non-canon AUs (e.g. mpreg, A/B/O, coffee shop, etc.)

1. PREFERRED TYPE/PEOPLE:As always and in previous times - anything Highlander will be loved and adored and squeed over and appreciated deeply. I especially love the OT4 (in any sense) of Duncan-Methos-Joe-Amanda together, but I'm up for anyone and anything and I also adore if someone makes me look again at a character I may have ignored or forgotten. I love happy friendship fic, but I also enjoy dark and grim - like coffee, fic is good in any way. Slash/femslash, gen, het are all welcome in any and all combinations and there's no limits on the right amount of anything.
2. PREFERENCES:friendship with or without romance and sex, adventure stories, slices of life, character insights, everyone loves everyone because immortals - no matter whether it's friendlove or romantic love. A little kink will go a long way, so will humor.
3. DISLIKES: character bashing
For the gift I am giving:
1. CHARACTERS I WILL NOT WRITE:I am willing to try anyone, and try my best, but how it turns out is another thing.
2. THINGS I WILL NOT WRITE:Again, I'll try anything. I'm probably not the one who's best versed in Connor and original movies, nor have I still managed to watch HL Raven.
Crossovers with: Crossovers welcome, but I don't have any particular preference. Though, any mythology crossovers/fusions could be really interesting.

I want to receive:Any type story you might imagine from the Highlander TV series, especially the seasons 3-5, but I also like the idea of stories set in the present or future. Write something that intrigues you.
1. PREFERRED TYPE/PEOPLE:My favorite characters are Methos, Duncan, Joe, and Amanda. I'm also fond of Fitzcairn, Robert & Gina. Sex where appropriate for the story, but not necessary.

3. DISLIKES:Stories where Highlander characters are secondary to other universes. Hating on Duncan.

1. PREFERRED TYPE/PEOPLE: Flexible on ratings. Character-wise - Methos, Amanda, Joe, Duncan, roughly in that order. I also love a ton of the minor characters like Cory Raines, Robert & Gina diValicourt, Marcus Constantine, Grace Chandel, Fitz, Rebecca. The Watchers in general, the Horsemen in general. I recently watched all the way through The Raven and really, I'd love to see more Liam, maybe interacting with some of the main show's characters. Also, I know this might be really weird, but if anyone else has the Highlander board game and wants to use Talia/Ix Tlali or Naminaga Minamoto/Amy Gray from that, I would be so thrilled. If anyone is interested in what the hell I'm talking about there, shoot me a message or something and I will fill you in.
2. PREFERENCES: I love capers and adventures and I've got a thing for exploring the potential problems and complexities that immortality brings with it. Banter is good, prodding Methos into Doing The Right Thing is good, future fic is awesome, flashbacks are also awesome.
3. DISLIKES: Methos/Joe, non-canonical character death, kid-fic (including Kenny even if he's not a kid sort of?), mpreg (pregnancy in general isn't my thing, but mpreg in particular), woobie!Methos.
For the gift I am giving:
