I regret but I cannot mod the fest this year.

Shall we let it have gone out on a high note with the stories last year?

"No" is absolutely a valid answer, but do you happen to have bandwidth to give us a primer on what's involved, for people who want to help?

Very high level:

A. Setting the schedule
1. Requesting and collecting sign ups
2. Making the assignments - ideally without duplicating from the last several years — hand matching
3. Creating the collection & making sure the stories get posted
4. Pinch hit wrangling
5. Staggered reveals, with posts
6. Guessing posts
7. Reveals and stats

Shortcuts is the highlight of my year. I would be really sad to see it go. I’m willing to help out any way I can to see it keep going.

I'm also available to help, though not to fully take over. Perhaps I could undertake wrangling the AO3 parts -- collection set-up and staggered releases -- or perhaps schedule and reminders.

(I would not be the right choice for making the exchange matches or wrangling pinch-hits.)
