So I have to make a change because one author liked the story I figured they wrote.
Additionally, I agree with Diana that the story *The Smith of Lemnos* fits the writing style and tone of Pennywashburns wonderful story from last year *Little Blessings* so it makes sense she wrote both. Other than that I’m going to stick with my orginal choices. 🙈

To be honest I’m still torn between Carenejeans for *Pleased to Meet You* and my current guess and Merriman for the heist story featuring Marcus Constantine but I’m sticking to my choices. No more second-guessing.

Edit: since Killa did write *Pleased to Meet You* (I actually had her down for that story at one point), Carenejeans must have written *To be Useful* and Merriman wrote *Revenge Served…Lukewarm*. 🙈

Yes, I was really surprised that everyone guessed my story right off this year - I don't usually write Richie. Have to be more sneaky next year

And I think Carenejeans has the widest variety of guesses on which story they wrote this year - I think I counted 4 different ones, none of us agreeing on that.

Last set, and these are all pure guesses as I find the style of these four very similar!

To be Useful - Merriman (it's the dialog that makes me choose this one)
The Smith of Lemnos - Pennywashburn (something about the tone reminds me of her Methos story from last year)
Wintersong - Lady Silver (it has the wistfulness I find in LS's best stories)
Revenge Served...Lukewarm - Malindarose (a pure guess but reminds me of her Loki/Labyrinth story)

I honestly have trouble guessing who wrote which story on any given year, so I'm not going to try. I am, however, giggling that only one person has gotten which story I wrote right, and this makes two years in a row where I haven't entirely given myself away. It's kinda nice.

I've been one that almost EVERYONE guesses for most years, and I was pretty much expecting this year to be the same as usual. Except apparently I wrote outside what people expect me to write, and thus have remained stealth.

Which. It's not like last year where I wrote someone I flat refuse to most of the time. Although I do have my suspicions about what the outside of expectations was, and I'll see if I was right after reveals, because now I'm really curious about how most people missed which one I wrote.

Whenever I think "this time no one will guess me!" they always do. And then other years I'll think "it cannot be more obvious that I wrote this story," but then no one will guess me!

but to be honest, most years, everyone knows which story is mine haha.
